What I Do

As a Digital Content Manager, I have acquired the skills and experience to translate brand strategy and ideas into reality. 

I am proficient in organic social media management; planning and scheduling brand content, analysing social media trends and applying them to the brand, community management and reporting on important metrics. Over the past year I have increased Instagram organic following by 15.6k, through increasing the use of local content, user generated content, and consistent engagement with users tags and mentions. 

E-commerce is naturally included in my role, and I enjoy managing the content on websites too, not only social media accounts. What I do, is align E-commerce with social media and attempt to push the same content on social media as the website and newsletters. For me, this means creating an aspirational journey for the customer. To view the product in a lifestyle setting on social media, to then viewing it on the website with the ability to purchase. By making the product visually enticing on social media - the customer is more interested on viewing further product information and reasons to buy, ultimately boosting conversions and sales.

 

Being a digital content manager means that I have the ability to create meaningful and impactful content, which relates to the brand's/company's  target audience. With this in mind, I enjoy teaching and educating our database on aspects of the brand they never knew, and using this as an opportunity to increase user relationships whom turn into loyal fans.

Content management for digital channels is not simple - but can be, if you enjoy it.
